Examples of these powerups provide faster fire rates, dual to triple streams of projectiles, and ricocheting shots.

These have a set duration, but offer a small boost to your ability to wreak havoc. The first of these are common power ups which a particular enemy will drop. Upgrades are rather interesting and come in three forms.

I would call them rather inconsiderate but hey, that’s war. Not only does the money being dropped need to be quickly collected as it can disappear from the play field rather quickly, but every attempt to collect it runs the risk of bringing the robot to destruction as new enemies can spawn right on top of where the destroyed ones were with no regard to if you were standing there or not. Each destroyed enemy drops money, which is critical to grab in order to buy upgrades and enhancements at the end of every stage, and this structure immediately creates some tension, if not stress, in the player. Our robot’s quest for revenge takes on some interesting elements as he works his way through hordes of enemies. How far he makes it against the robots of the apocalypse is entirely in your hands. Taking control of a robot, players set out to eliminate its own kind after their total annihilation of the human race. The Rocket pet does higher aoe, autoaims, and has a better firerate,=> id only get grenades if ur at loss what u need.Ultratron is a flashy twin-stick arcade shooter that gives players the goal of nothing short of complete vengeance. if not, they die prety quickly without the AI Upgrades + repair, so thats another high cost.Įscpecially, i believe rocket pet > other pets for upgrading, just so nice after 40, thats why i leave laser and blaster at lvl 1 and save money for rocket upgrades ASAP, take Speed 2 for starters, quantum drive early, u dont really need the Bomb fruits IMO, then first max the speed charge. Drones are a bit ~~, if u r lucky to get 2-3 drones on the map they are beast. the pets do help, but at first they pretty much suck, ull need to spend a lot of money there if you wnat to get them useful. I myself dont like the EMP upgrade, it just eaats my money away with those smarbombs, i prefer to have them safe when i got no shields (AUTOSMART )As said above, keep 3 shields, take autosmart. the last upgrades on primary can wait, as at that time u wil have other sources of damage. Just dont forget to keep the main cannon up to date, I'd say for every 10 lvls, put primary up 2 points. Of course, by the time you're that far you should have a pretty good understanding of what skills to get. Grenades aren't too essential in the early game, but you're really going to need them once you start getting into 40+. Make sure to get their level up perk as soon as you can, and let them kill enemies for you whenever you can just dodge around. A couple of those auto-smartbombs during a multi-boss will probably just kill them. When you start getting further, get Auto Smarts for the boss fights.
Ultratron upgrade order zip#
You can just zip through rockets and lasers while still dishing out damage, and these skills are ESSENTIAL when fighting multiple bosses at once. Get a couple points of Speed Boost and Quantum Shift for the bosses. You never need more than these three shields until you're on level 40+, and even then you'll only need to buy them on the round before a boss fight.īuy a level or two of Dot Slurper as soon as you possibly can. During the early game just keep your three shields.
